In 1981she moved to Santa Fe, TX where she lived until 1995. She began her accounting career at this time and her family lived on a small ranch where they raised Beefmaster cattle and the obligatory 4-H chickens. During this period she was lucky enough to have diverse friends in other traditions who shared with her their Shamanic, Druidic, and Native American beliefs, and she began her lifework in healing. She found her lifemate in 1997, and married him in 2005. He is retired career USAF and a Wiccan HP.

Together they founded a new eclectic tradition that combines the spiritual paths of their far-flung clan members, most of whom they first met online. Crossroads tradition members live in several countries and across the USA, and they meet several times a year at different festivals where Moonsilvered teaches and does hands-on, Reiki and trance healings. Her husband does workshops and healings with singing crystal bowls, tarot readings and past-life regressions. They sell items on E-Bay and vend at festivals under “Moonsilvered Magickal Things”, to cover travel expenses. Between them, Moonsilvered and her husband have 7 children and 16 grandchildren (as of March, 2007). They are retired and do a lot of travel between clan members and family scattered from AZ to upstate NY and Ireland. Moonsilvered has always been a writer, but this is the first volume she has offered for publication outside of her home clan and workshop attendees…we all suspect there will be more to come.
